Who Are We?
My wife Amy and I (Ben), along with our four kids Luke, Simon, Helena, & Charlotte made the move to Indonesia in November of 2011. We live on the Island of Borneo in Tarakan, North Kalimantan, where we are serving with Mission Aviation Fellowship. We are originally from BC, Canada (eh?) and have left our homeland to follow where we have felt God lead our family.
I am an aircraft mechanic, and my responsibilities with MAF are to help keep MAF airplanes safely flying. A super short parable Jesus told goes like this:
"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."

Our treasure is the eternal hope Christ. There is nothing in life we could ever give up that could compare to what God has given us through Christ - not something we have earned. As He has blessed us, so we desire to bless others!
